EW's Doc Jensen previews two new eps...

...three weeks before Lost's Season 5 premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 21, and he tells about it here.
The good doctor is quite discreet, and he gives virtually nothing new away, especially if you've already seen the "sneak peeks" that ABC has been airing in recent weeks. Like the shocking fact that we'll be seeing a whole lot of Josh Holloway minus his shirt.
Is anyone upset by that knowledge? No, we didn't think so.
So, in our opinion, no real spoilers to worry about from Doc Jensen. But you should skip the EW.com story if you really don't want to know anything about what to expect before the S5 premiere of Lost.

What happens if SAG strikes?

There could be a strike by SAG.

If so, what happens to our beloved show?

In some remarkable reality where George Clooney's trade-ad bitch-slap to the strike movement doesn't have the intended effect and the January vote does deliver a walk-out, Lost will have filmed at least 11 of this season's 17 episodes.

Oceanic Six's return to island will be complicated

Check out this TV Guide video about how the Oceanic Six's return to the island won't exactly be easy. Based on brief Jorge Garcia interview.

No major spoilers.

Sneak peaks and greetings from Damon and Carlton

SPOILERS ONLY IF YOU CLICK THE LINK.

Kristin of E! Online has a new sneak peak for season five and a second video of secret sharing by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

I'd classify the sneak peak as spoilery but the secret sharing not so much. Just funny. Even if you are trying to avoid spoilers, you can watch the Damon and Carlton.

We're nearly a month away from the premiere.

I'm sure the posts will begin increasing.

What's in and not in this photo and why?

You'll have to check out Kristin's insights at E! Online for the spoilers. But I'm posting some thoughts from Kristin to ponder below:

Where is Jin Kwon?

...

They went for the postapocalyptic vine-covered Brooklyn-scape, huh? Is this a convenient aesthetic shorthand that integrates the Oceanic Sixers out in the world and the Left Behinders back on the Island, or could it be a portent of actual scenes to come?

...

Is there a hidden meaning in the bottles of Dharma pop, Dharma beer and Dharma saltines? What about the busted computer monitor and old TV?

Lost is casting a new Sayid?!?!?!?

From Michael Ausellio at Entertainment Weekly:

Oh, don't get your knickers in a knot! Naveen Andrews isn't leaving Lost. However, if my hunch is correct, in this season's 10th episode -- a Sayid-centric outing that starts shooting later this week -- a new actor will be playing his part.

"Whatchutalkinbout', Willis?" you say?

Follow along now: A casting call has gone out for the roles of a father and his 12- and 8-year-old sons, all of whom, I'm told, will have to be fluent in Arabic. So wouldn't a logical assumption be that the hotheaded dad is Sayid's pop and the older boy, a sensitive type who's painfully aware that he lets down his formidable paterfamilias, is the future assassin himself?

That's what I thought, too! The hour promises to be a real crusher, with Dad teaching his elder son the kind of lesson in manhood that I suspect inflicts lifelong emotional scars.

Are you ready for Sayid's untold story to be told? Or are you afraid that it will be so intense, it'll qualify as must-wince TV? Comment away below!
