Oh. My. God. They killed Faraday.

Waaaaahhhh! I can't believe Daniel Faraday's dead. Shot unwittingly by his own mother?! And Charles Widmore, as many had suspected, was indeed Dan's father.

I really, really do not like that Radzinsky. Or Phil. That weasel.

Things aren't looking so good for the Lostaways...but at least Sawyer and Juliet are sticking together!

OMG! I didn't see that coming. And why didn't Juliet drug the guy in the closet?

Wow, what a great episode. I loved it. But I'm sad to see Faraday killed. Wasn't really expecting that, but then I've stayed away from any and all spoilers.

So since they can change the past, which changes the future, will they in fact be able to prevent the plane crash. Hmm, not sure I want to see all of what's happened erased.

My biggest question is about Faraday's mom. So she knew that sending him back would mean she would ultimately kill him? Is that what she was going to say when she was talking to Widmore?

Or shoot the guy in the closet. It's not like they haven't done it before.

So, is Daniel an allegory for Christ? Sacraficed by his mother to save the rest? He obviously knew when he died that she was going to shoot and kill him.

Interesting that Mrs. Hawking now no longers knows what will happen next.

Joyce, I don't like Radzinsky or Phil either. Little weasels.

Still loving Sawyer and Juliet.

Any thoughts what's going to happen to them? Any chance Hurley and Jin could save the day.

And, even more than loving Juliet and Sawyer, Desmond and Penny are fantastic.

I'm wondering if the fact that Ms. Hawking no longer knows what will happen [in 2007] is indicative of the Losties changing the timeline between now and the end of ther series -- or the end of this season, even.

Daniel said his mother would know how to get the Losties back to 2007 -- so will Jack and Kate try to get her to help them? Will Richard intervene to assist in persuading Eloise to make it happen?

Well, and now we have a whole new ballgame if, as Daniel said, human beings are "the variable" and can use free will to change what happens. Anything could happen!

Oh, and yes, Jen, it was great to see Penny and Desmond again. It's hard for me to believe the great and powerful Charles Widmore wouldn't just walk into the hospital and insist on seeing his prodigal daughter. Don't you know that if he met his grandson, Widmore would melt into a puddle of mush? And once he found out they named the kid "Charlie" -- well, of course he would assume the boy was his namesake...

I still don't think he's dead. I mean, they shot little Ben dead at the end of an episode, but the others saved him. Now Dan's shot, but its obvious Richard is unhappy about it. Their gonna bring him back same as little Ben. Or they just won't even need to use the temple; the others are bound to have some good doctors, plus Jack is right there. It seems unfair Ben gets shot in the chest/stomach by Sayid and is just fine when the others save him, but when Faraday, who is much cooler, gets shot, their all like, "oh, its to bad, there's nothing we can do. oh well." That's just stupid.

Plus Daniel was the best guy ever. They can't kill the best guy ever.

One word:

I hate you, writers. Hate.

I don't get it..send a physicist with a gun - into a camp with 100 armed men and women - and point a gun at their LEADER asking WHERE is a HYDROGEN BOMB? And to state "You have 3 seconds to answer" and EXPECT him to come out alive AND finish his mission?

I think this death is the most pointless - Soap Opera-ish Balderdash! Very silly and non-anticlimatic!!

THe writers have lost it!!
